Animana was founded in 2000 by Bas van Ecke and Sebastiaan Massizzo. With degrees in veterinary medicine and software engineering, and hands on experience with practice management systems, they possessed all the right knowledge and skills to develop the software system that veterinary clinics needed; Animana ASP. It started with a focus on companion animal and ambulatory equine clinics, but throughout the years Animana ASP has developed into a more than complete package that is able to fulfill all the needs of any clinic, in despite of the size and the species they work with. What stayed the same is the webbased basis of Animana ASP; wherever you are, with a connection to the internet you have easy and complete access to all your data.
Nowadays, the animana team consists of about 20 people, divided in a development team, a service desk and a commercial team. This team size makes us large enough to deal with everything involved in developing and maintaining an excellent veterinary software system with all the service our clients expect, but it keeps us small enough for that little personal touch. Because most members of the Animana team have ties to the veterinary world, we are able to bridge the gap between software development and the daily life at a veterinary clinic.
