Animana User Review: Park Vets

Park Vets is a long established veterinary practice with three sites in and around Cardiff, Wales. The staff of over 50 employees, including 15 vets, feels that communication with clients and providing the best quality veterinary experience are key. Clinical Manager Emma Hollingworth shares some of the highlights of working with Animana in her practice.

How has IDEXX Animana benefitted you? How has your daily practice improved from the use of IDEXX Animana?

We have found Animana to be a huge time-saving tool, almost all of the manual attachment processes (i.e. emails, lab results, x-rays) are now automatic, which leaves us free to concentrate on clinical work.

Would you recommend IDEXX Animana to a colleague?

Yes. The system eliminates so many manual processes which take time and training. For example, lab results are added directly to client files, which lets us share not only detailed results but also the diagnosis and plan of action with the owner in one email.

What do you consider to be the most valuable aspect of your experience with Animana?

Accessibility to make the system what you want. Time to build the system before Go Live day is a huge plus, as kinks can be ironed out before the big switch-on.

How was the transition from your previous PMS to Animana?

Far less stressful that I had imagined. The more time you put into the setup and get the finer detail where you want it, the easier it is once you go live with Animana.  We had the benefit of 5 months of setup before Go Live day, which other providers do not offer.

How has your daily practice improved from the use of Animana?

Far more efficient. All information you need is in one place, and we have less of a paper mountain to wade through!
