Animana Release Highlights: Version 4.10

This version of Animana contains several bug fixes, security improvements, and behind the scenes enhancements. It also includes the following changes:

IDEXX Animana and IDEXX SmartFlow synchronisation

As part of our continued enhancements to the integration between Animana and SmartFlow, we’re handing you control of product synchronisation. You can now get an overview of product groups synced between Animana and SmartFlow. This allows you to add and delete products and combi-products between Animana and SmartFlow – putting you in charge and saving you time and stress.

If you’re an Animana administrator, go to Settings> General Settings> SmartFlow, where you’ll now see an option to synchronise products per location. Click the “Sync” button to see the breakdown by product group showing how many products are in that group (in Animana), and how many are synchronised with SmartFlow, you can then select which groups you want to sync. Once you are happy with your selection, click the “Sync To SmartFlow” button, and you’re done. Go to SmartFlow, and you will see the changes are already there and ready to map! Please note you must manually follow this synchronisation process each time you add a product to a product group.

National Veterinary Services (NVS) digital packing list (UK Only)

Fed up manually entering batch information after receiving an order from NVS? We’re pleased to announce that product expiry, and batch numbers can now be automatically populated with a few clicks in your NVS order. By choosing the relevant order and searching for the digital packing list, you’ll instantly see the batch numbers and expiry dates for the received products. You’ll also be able to view a digital copy of the packing list sent by NVS. For more information, visit our knowledge base article here.

Note: For practices wanting to use this feature, you’ll need to contact your NVS territory manager and be currently placing your orders through Animana.
