IDEXX Animana is pleased to announce version 3.0 with the following core announcements:
eClaims Functionality – Submit Insurance Claims Straight to an Insurer
In preparation for the eClaims functionality which will be released shortly, we would like to encourage you to read the associated knowledgebase articles to familiarise yourself with the new feature. In addition, if you don’t have a VetEnvoy account yet, you should register with them as soon as possible in order to be able to use the eClaims functionality within Animana. Please go to https://www.vetenvoy.net/signup. The associated knowledgebase articles are listed below:
- Does Animana support insurance claims?)
- How do I create an eClaim?
- How do I view all insurance claims?
In order to ensure a smooth roll-out of the eClaims functionality, the support team will reach out to you as soon as your clinic can start using it. If you have already registered with VetEnvoy, then this should be within the next two weeks. Please wait for their call. If not yet registered with VetEnvoy, support is automatically notified once you have registered and will help you with the set-up in Animana.
Over the next couple of Animana releases, we will be developing this feature further to provide extra functionality such as: support for manual claims (via PDF), ‘one-click’ for adding all products and ‘one-click’ attachments of the full clinical history.
Changes in wording for diary related menus
We have replaced all diary, agenda and schedule wording. In General Settings you will now see “Appointment Types”, “Appointment Columns” and “Appointment Groups”. These are all existing menu items, they just have been renamed. You can find the explanation of the different parts in the article General Settings – Appointment Settings.
For more information, please feel free to contact your local support team via email@example.com.
